Salsa de Franco was born in the early 1900’s in Bisabuela Franco’s cocina in the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico. She used only the best quality ingredients to create a flavor explosion for the mouth. The recipe was passed verbally to daughters-in-law for nearly a century, each adding a little something special to enhance the flavors. Mi Madre Franco passed it onto me and I have included my own special touches.
